Our classes are taught in a friendly sport environment, suitable for people of all ages and physical skill levels.


Training program


Unlike most Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu schools, in our club we work in accordance with your needs. Whatever your goals, our job is to provide a class that is fit for you to help you attain your objective.
Whether you want to became a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu champion or just want to get in shape, we are here to assure you will reach your goals while you have a lot of fun rolling around.
You will train under the close supervision of a certified instructor who will be constantly evaluating your progress on the mats to guarantee you the best results.
Rodrigo Clark has over 14 years of experience in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and has developed a curriculum with a large variety of drills and techniques that allow a better evaluation of the student's progress. To optimize the learning process, students are taught in separated groups in accordance with their skills and experience.
The curriculum was designed to help students at all levels to achieve the best result for their time and effort.


Kid's Classes



The Kid's class offers a fun, friendly and safe environment for your children. We work to develop the physical skills necessary to perform Jiu-Jitsu techniques and understand the applications of leverage. The classes are conducted under very close supervision of a certified instructor with many years of experience in training, teaching and competing.
Kids will have a chance to develop a sense of discipline, respect and confidence. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes are also strongly recommended to increase awareness, physical conditioning, flexibility and self-esteem.


Adult/Beginners Classes



Beginners will initially focus on building a solid foundation in technique and theory with an emphasis placed on practical and efficient self-defense methods. A solid foundation in the basics is essential for progress in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Our beginner's program provides the student's the chance to learn all of the fundamentals of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in a dynamic and detailed class. Some of the beginner techniques include: Breaking falls, takedowns, submissions, escapes, holds, and leverage and balance techniques. The adult classes are open to men and woman.


Adult/Advanced Classes



Along with the continued development of the applications taught in the beginner's classes, the advanced class allows you to train with multiple partners of varied skill levels, providing a more developed understanding of techniques and the fighting process.
Intermediate and advanced students will primarily focus on strategy, refining their technique and learning to "flow" with their opponent. As a student acquires increasing technical proficiency and skill, he or she will be allowed to apply their knowledge in free sparring sessions with other students. Sparring builds stamina and endurance while allowing the student to test their technical skills against an uncooperative opponent.


No Gi/Submission Classes



This class focuses on learning and applying all the effectiveness and versatility of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu without the traditional Gi (uniform). No Gi training is very similar to Jiu-Jitsu and is build on all the same principals. The participants do not wear the traditional kimono, therefore the techniques are slightly modified to accommodate inability to hold the opponent by the clothing. The training much like Jiu-Jitsu concentrates on the ground control and submissions. The No Gi/Submission classes are open to all ranks, but a good foundation in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu technique is strongly recommended.



Mixed Martial Arts Classes



MMA is the revolution of the modern martial arts. MMA employs a wide range of striking and grappling tactics.
The M.M.A. classes consist of a hybrid form of martial arts, which utilizes Brazilian jiu-jitsu, freestyle and Greco Roman wrestling, Boxing and Thai Boxing. In this class you will learn the basics of MMA and how to mix these disciplines into one fighting system. The class is safe and held in a controlled setting, making it perfect for anyone interested in learing MMA.
Breakdown of MMA Classes
You will drill the following:

· Striking - punching, elbows, kicks and knees taken from Thai Boxing/ Western Boxing
· Thai Pads Combinations
· Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu techniques such as Submissions, Sweeps, control holds
· Greco Roman and Freestyle Wrestling takedowns
· Takedown Defense
· Dirty Boxing from the clinch
· Stamina and body conditioning
· Sparring - Boxing, Kickboxing, Grappling and MMA


Self-defense Classes



This course was designed to provide students with the knowledge they need to defend themselves in a real life-threatening situation. Our curriculum includes many techniques that could literally save your life during a confrontation. In this class you will learn how to deal with the most common street attacks without relying on strength, speed or coordination. These techniques will allow you to defend your self against an opponent regardless of his weight or stature. You will learn to escape from virtually any position that you may find yourself trapped in by using minimal strength. Self-defense classes are recommended for man and woman at all ages.


Women's Classes



This program is specially developed to help women identify and avoid potentially dangerous situations in order to prevent a woman's worst nightmare: RAPE
The women's curriculum includes elements of basic safety that can help a woman recognize possible danger before it escalates into physical attack.
The techniques are designed to help any woman escape from her attacker, whether she is on her feet or on the ground. The techniques of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu are not based on strikes and kicks like most other self-defense courses for women. Strikes and kicks offer very little chance for success against an assailant who is most likely going to be bigger, stronger and capable of hitting back. Furthermore, they are useless on the ground, which is where the attacker will usually carry out his assault. The escape moves of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu are based on leverage techniques and do not require strength, speed or coordination. These classes are recommended for women at any age, size, strength or level of physical fitness.


Private Classes



Private classes are a great way to improve your Jiu-Jitsu game. If you are having difficulty executing certain techniques or need to work on a certain aspect of your game, private classes give you an opportunity to take your skills to the next level.

You will learn new techniques appropriately designed to fit your body type and grappling style.
The instructor will setup a plan to optimize your techniques and develop a strategy to help you to achieve the best results on the mat.


During your private class you will receive:
1-on-1 instruction
All of the attention is focused on you without the distractions of a group class.
Technical Analysis
The instructor will analyze the way you perform techniques, point out any flaws and work to correct them.
